Last summer, we received this odd looking squash which we found to be patty pan! A little bit of googling led us to the NY Times food blog and a recipe for how to cook patty pan. I have to say – I love the NY Times food blogs and section. They truly have amazing recipes and great insight to food.

Whenever we cook this, we practically inhale it. In between bites, we are saying over and over: “This is so good. Wow, this is just so good.” And it really is that good.
Spice it up with a little more pepper in the recipe and add the parsley a little earlier for more flavor.
